Junior Administrative Assistant
This position reports directly to the General Manager;
- Covers reception desk when necessary
- Back-up for incoming calls when front desk busy
- Provides general office duties: filing, word processing, etc …
- Processes registration applications of new and current members
- Updates athlete database on a daily basis (registration info)
- Assists Office Manager, Customer Service Representative, Head Coaches with daily tasks
- Participates, if required, at community events, invitationals and qualifiers.
- Hours will include a combination of daytime, evening and weekends.
Experience required:
- Computer proficiency necessary: Word, Excel, QuickBooks, an asset
- Good team member – works well in team environment
- Positive & outgoing attitude
- Good organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Good telephone manner
- Enjoys sport environment
- Experience in an office environment is an asset.
This position is an entry level position. The candidate chosen will be required to become NCCP certified Level 1 Artistic Gymnastics, First Aid Trained, Risk Management and Vulnerable Sector Screening is a must. Starting Salary is minimum wage.

Enthusiastic and Motivated Recreational Coaches Wanted at Pulsars
We are expanding our current programs and are searching for a few new coaches to join our Team who are passionate, motivated and seeking employment in one of Southern Ontario’s largest gymnastics clubs. Our 15,000 sq ft facility is complete with FIG equipment, numerous training mats and tools, three in-ground trampolines and many other transitional tools to develop male and female gymnasts equally. Pulsars has been a vital part of the community for 20 years and has a long standing relationship with its community giving back to many charities and events. Our Mission Statement is to become a centre that will provide positive and diverse gymnastics services for children and youth in a safe and rewarding atmosphere through the delivery of quality programs.
The following criterion is required for our Recreational Coach:
1. Minimum Certified Level 1, Artistic and Trampoline
2. First Aid & CPR certification
3. Risk Management (online with GO)
4. Flexible schedule with potential of up to 25 hours, additional hours avail.
5. ..Minimum 2 years experience working with all recreational levels including
Pre-School, Beginner, Intermediate and
........Advanced.
Salary will be based on years of experience and qualifications.
